Just a simple click today, but one of my favorite photos from the past few years.  This is my tree, up at Fords.  Mine, in the sense that I keep photographing it visit after visit, year after year.  Like and old friend that I’m always pleased to see.

In the autumn of this photo, it was really stunning – leaves like liquid gold, a landscape to match, farm fields and glaciated mountains in the distance.  I have a large print of this one hanging in my office – a 24×36, which looks great.

Here’s to autumn, already fleeting.
