Just a few shots from my trip across the Frances Walter Dam impoundment. This was only, I think, my third visit here. It’s a shoreline unlike any other I’ve found here in NEPA, much rockier, dominated by cliffs and giant slabs of bedrock. The forests are predominantly evergreen, up here on the mountaintop. Although like the rest of the lakes in the area, it’s waters are dark and tannin-stained.
