I won a contest!

Like the title says, I won a contest!  NEPA BlogCon put out a call for photo entries, from which they’d choose an even dozen and make a calendar for their upcoming conference.  Since I shot their portraits a few months back, I felt kind of obligated to enter something – and let’s face it, contests are fun.  I actually prefer this kind of local version to the bigger, haughty online variety.

The result is a pretty awesome collection of images from the region, shot by local photographers and photo enthusiasts.  And I think it’s really cool that it’ll get shared with an even wider crowd and celebrated.  NEPA has a lot going for it and a lot of talented people who call it home.   You can check out all the winning entries on NEPA BlogCon’s post: 2013 NEPA Calendar Contest Winners

  1. Congrats man! Those are some great shots that will be on the calendar. One of these days I want to try some urban exploration and try to get a shot like the zombie ballroom (Oct) shot.

Congratulations! From the tiny views, I assume you will be the December pin-up!
