Spring is here, early and in all its glory. It’s beautiful, as color starts to return to the earth, the browns slowly sublimated by green until winter’s bleakness is a distant memory. I spent an hour or so out at Merli Sarnoski one evening last week. Part of it I just spent sitting in the sun, but for the rest I was playing around with some more macro shots. Started on the tripod, got sick of how fussy the whole process is (big surprise), so switched to hand-holding. Then, just for kicks, I removed the extension tubes and shot a few frames with just the Takumar 55mm f/2, including the pano at the end of this post.
